Jerry Williams Obituary

Jerry Mae Williams, 75, of Centralia passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, with her children that cared for her by her side. She was born on February 20, 1949, the daughter of Edward and Naomi (Barrall) Hardy in Centralia. She married Larry Williams on June 4, 1994, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2003.

Survivors who will hold dear memories of Jerry’s compassionate heart include her beloved family, daughter, Jena (Randy) Jolliff of Centralia; son, Eric (Karen) Eller of Centralia; precious grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Reid, Gabrielle “Doo” Eller (Mason), Trevor Eller (Natalie), Adam (Maddy) Jolliff , Randa Walsh (Dave), Abby Jolliff (Zach), and Theo Maroy; cherished great-grandchildren, Brooke Reid (Tim Joo), Leighton Reid, Lawson Reid, Cayson Jolliff, Colby Jolliff, Braxton Yolkley, Brystol Yolkley, Alyvia Roderick, Mason Jones, Kallie Walsh; caring siblings, brothers, Steve Hardy and wife Mary Jane, Eddie Hardy and wife Judy; sister, Brenda Gerrish and husband David; lifelong friend Betty Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Along with her husband, Larry Williams, Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Naomi Hardy; and her children, Chad Eller, Tina Eller, and Denny Eller Jr.

Jerry, as a natural caregiver, shared her ability to put people at ease and attend to their every need while working as a compassionate CNA at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. She enjoyed her time as a foster grandparent at Murray Center, making heart connections and kindly filling that grandparent role for those who did not have one. Jerry typically had “lady luck” on her side, which was useful when she played Bingo and visited casinos for a fun night out. She liked to take time to refresh her soul while out in nature, sitting in her favorite spot, under a certain tree. Jerry was a loyal friend and was grateful for friendships made while living at Plaza Verde in Centralia. Her family will forever remember Jerry as the “hostess with the mostess”, cooking her amazing chicken and noodles, signature macaroni and tomatoes, and mouth-watering Texas sheet cake, making sure all went home with full bellies, maybe some leftovers, and happy memories of time spent together.  Jerry’s fur babies, Rocko and Reese were always by her side hoping for a table scrap or her cuddles. Jerry had a deep love for her family, having a close bond with her cherished grandchildren who called her “MoMo” and “Great”, she was the glue that kept all her family ties close. Jerry was selflessly mindful of putting others needs before her own, was a hard worker who also knew the value of taking time to rest and left an imprint of endless love on the hearts of everyone in her family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Ronnie Tabor officiating.
