June Thalman Obituary
Elizabeth June Thalman, 91, of Patoka passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at her home. She was born on April 5, 1933, the daughter of George and Pearl (Walker) Peddicord. She married Cecil Thalman on October 18, 1952, in Sandoval and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2022.
June is survived by loved nieces and nephews; compassionate caregivers; and neighbors who were like family.
Along with her husband of 70 years, Cecil Thalman, June was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Peddicord; and her siblings.
June approached her role as a loving wife eagerly, having respect for her husband and being ever grateful for the partnership they shared. She cared for their home and enjoyed working together with her husband, on the farm, through all their wonderful years of their marriage. June was a loyal neighbor and friend, who would do anything she could to help others with any need. June’s kindness was always a blessing. She was loved and will be deeply missed.
Burial will be held privately at Harrison Cemetery. Memorials may be made in June’s honor to Harrison Cemetery and will be accepted for the family at Macz Funeral Home at 234 South Elm Centralia, IL 62801.
