Kathy Lynn Shaw

Kathy Lynn Shaw, 62, of Centralia passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Fireside House in Centralia. She was born on July 13, 1962, the daughter of George and Mary (Smith) McCormick in Colorado Springs, CO. She married Curtis Shaw in San Antonio, TX and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Mary McCormick of Centralia; her children, Robby Shaw of WI, and Ryan Shaw of IL; her precious grandson, Owen Shaw; and her sister, Paula Hancock of Centralia.

Along with her husband, Curtis Shaw, Kathy was preceded in death by her father, George McCormick.

During her working years, Kathy was a loyal employee of Graphic Packaging, working with co-workers who became her friends. She was a Bingo queen, who liked to line up her cards and watch for which one would bring her a win. Kathy liked to relax while working on puzzles, doing her word search books and watching game shows. Kathy tried to make her home a place of comfort and peace for her family. She dearly loved her family more than anything and made time spent with them her top priority. Kathy will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. Memorials may be made in Kathy’s honor to the Family’s Wishes and will be accepted for her family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
