Survivors include his life partner, Nina Scattergood; his children, Jennifer Binstock, Joshua Lundrigan, Zachary Stewart and wife Sarah, Lucas Stewart and wife Claire, Brittany Stewart; stepchildren, Jaime Rainwater and husband Kevin, Sarah Scattergood-Crapnell and husband Tom, Johnny Scattergood and wife Lois; son-in-law, Frank Binstock; grandchildren, Dillan and Hannah Binstock, Elliot Stewart, Elsie Jo Stewart, Katelyn, Brianna and Chloe Rainwater, Elizabeth, Samuel and Austin Scattergood; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul Niehoff, George Niehoff, Dennis Stewart, Donna Polk, Joanne Barrett; special friends, Kevin and Dianna Greider; bonus parents, Gerald and Pauline Sarver; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Keith had tremendous culinary talent and was a cook at several restaurants. He began his decades long career path working in the dining halls at Chanute Air Force Base. Keith was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Black Hawks fan and could often be seen wearing their logos proudly. He enjoyed playing golf with his sons and friends as well as doing leatherwork in his spare time. He loved spending time with family and connecting with his grandkids. He enjoyed bowling on the Thursday night Trio league at Salem Bowl. Keith had a true love of the mountains and liked to travel to them any chance he got. Keith faced every health battle that came his way with grit and determination. He didn’t go down without a fight. He was deeply loved by all fortunate enough to have known him. May he now rest in perfect peace.
