Mike Johnson

Michael Douglas “Mike” Johnson, 72, of Centralia passed away peacefully, November 6, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born on January 13, 1953, in Centralia, the son of Earl and Barbara (Swan) Johnson. He married Linda Nail, and they shared 45 amazing years together. 

Survivors that will hold treasured memories of Mike include his devoted wife, Linda Johnson of Centralia; beloved children, Kristy Fahrenwald, Rebecca Ball, Amy Johnson, Tracy Karcher, Vance Johnson, and Jeffrey Johnson; 22 precious grandchildren; several cherished great-grandchildren; father, Earl Johnson; dear sister, Kathy Woodcock; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Johnson; and his brother, Les Johnson.

Mike was a hard worker and loyal employee of RC Cola for twenty years, and Bears for another twenty years. He enjoyed time outdoors, camping, fishing, grilling, and working in the yard. He loved watching John Wayne movies and eating at buffets. He absolutely loved his dogs, Rusty, Max and Little John, giving them treats, ear rubs, and was always grateful for their unconditional love. One of his favorite places was out on his front porch, visiting with friends and family, and watching everything that was going on in the neighborhood. Mike was deeply loved by all those that knew him and his memory will go on in the hearts of all his family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the 161 Church of Christ in Centralia. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Mike Johnson with arrangements.
