Myrna Nez Obituary
Myrna G. Nez, 80, of Centralia passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was born on September 22, 1943, the daughter of LeeRoy and Virginia (Gibbs) Luttrell. She married the love of her life, Walter Nez, and he survives her in Centralia.
Along with her husband, Walter Nez, Myrna is survived by her brother, Mark Luttrell and wife Jenny of Tennessee; her sisters, Kathy Ray and husband Wayne of Florida, and Daisy Williams and husband Louis of Salem; and her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Janet Spitler; and her brother, Gordon Luttrell.
Myrna’s compassionate, caring nature was a benefit to her grateful patients she cared for while working as a registered nurse. She began her career as an RN in Florida and completed her career, retiring as an RN for the Centralia Correctional Center. Myrna was a beautiful lady inside and out and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Myrna’s honor to General Baptist Church in Centralia.
