They later divorced.  Nick found love again and was engaged to be married to Brandi Gambill, who survives in Centralia.

Nick was known for being a hard-working entrepreneur, always providing for his family. He would take his children to work with him at times knowing it was important to instill a hard work ethic in them.  Nick was proud of being a “Daddy” and “Grandpa” most.  He loved working side by side with his brother, T.J., especially on his hobby of building, fixing, and driving derby cars. Always willing to throw down a bet, Nick liked to gamble and joke with friends.   Nick really enjoyed to fish with his family.  He would sometimes swap his days catch with deer meat for himself to feast on.  All children would migrate to Nick.  He was a natural father figure to many, always taking anyone in that needed extra care or encouragement.  He was loved and respected by his Drug Court Brothers, Casey Williams, Anthony Finkbone, “BOO” Derek Kirgan, “Bob” Robert Moulder, Jake Dillinger, and Steve Cook.  Nicholas will be remembered for his infectious joyful personality and loyalty to his family and friends.
