Norma Ruth Hauck, 84, of Marion passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. She was born on February 9, 1938, the daughter of Talmadge and Mildred (Ainscough) Outhouse in Patoka. She married Paul E. Hauck on June 11, 1966, in Decatur and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her beloved family, children Tracy (Bev) Hauck of Salem, Stacey Hauck (Beth Price) of Mt. Vernon, and Paula (Ken) Mathis of Herrin; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters Linda Maas of Sandoval, and Karen (Don) Wurm of Beckemeyer.
Along with her husband, Norma was preceded in death by her parents Talmadge and Mildred Outhouse; her brother Larry Outhouse; son Clayton; grandson Dokken; granddaughter Hazel.
Norma’s family was her whole heart, and she shared her great love for them each and every day. She loved to create through painting, sewing and crafts. Norma carefully nurtured her beautiful gardens, which brought her much happiness. She was known to spoil her cats, grateful for the company of her fur babies. Norma will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit and special way of putting family first.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Patoka City Cemetery in Patoka with Minister Seth Schnautz officiating. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the graveside service on Thursday at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka. Memorials may be made in Norma’s honor to Williamson County Animal Shelter.
