Percia Keys, 93, of Centralia was welcomed Home into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 7, 2023. She was born on June 5, 1929, the daughter of Otis and Ora Lee (Jackson) Keys in Greenwood, Mississippi.

Survivors that will mourn the passing of their beloved Percia Keys include her daughters, Carol Ann Downey and husband Hubie of Centralia, Il, and Alma Offutt (Jimmie) of Peoria, IL; brother, Arthur Keys (Jean); her sister, Mozella Richards (Archie Leonard); sisters-in-law, Mary Keys, Ann Keys; sons-in-law, Greg Brown, Otie West Molannd Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Percia was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Charlie Keys (Nancy), William Keys, and Otis Keys Jr.; her sister, Florence Taylor (Larry); and her children, Vivian Marie Walker (Bill), Ora Lee Brown, Delores Keys; and grandson, Kenny Keys.

Percia was a strong lady of faith who was blessed with many gifts that she was obedient to share with her church family and community. She shared the Word of God by teaching Sunday school, and she was a faithful member of the Church Women’s United. Percia was a bright light during Youth Week Home League, volunteering for the Salvation Army and being honored with an award for her time and efforts. She had talent in her hands, loving to create while quilting, sewing, and making crafts. Percia had a beautiful way of making sure others were seen and loved. She was a fierce protector for her family, a loyal friend, and a daughter of God. Percia will be deeply missed but her example of generosity, kindness and love will live on in every life she has touched.
