Ronald Kennett Obituary

Ronald E. Kennett, age 69 of Sandoval, IL, passed away at home on November 28, 2023. Ronnie was born on July 29, 1954, the son of the late Howard Weems and Eileen (Griffith) Weems of Sandoval.

Ronnie is survived by brothers, Randy Griffith of Marissa, IL, Terry Weems of Sandoval; sister, Darlene and David Boatright of Sandoval, and Michele and Dennis Ralidak of Sandoval; and several nieces and nephews.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Myrtle Peller; sister-in-law, Rosetta Griffith; and niece, Brittany Griffith.

Ronnie was full of joy and enjoyed making people laugh. Ronnie enjoyed expressing his humor, emotions, and life experiences in poetry. He was a wonderful horseshoe competitor and played basketball in school, and softball as a young man.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Sandoval City Cemetery with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi officiating. Memorials may be made in Ronnie’s honor to the family and will be accepted for the family at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval.
