Terry Lynn Clements

Terry Lynn Clements, 67, of Patoka, IL passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at home. He was born on June 4, 1957, in Highland, IL, son of John and Mary Clements. He was married to Paula (Gatewood) Clements on June 22, 2007.

Terry was a 1975 graduate of Patoka High School. He went on to attend Kaskaskia College later in life, studying electronics. He was employed at Swan, Arrow Group and ConAgra before retiring. Terry is of the Christian Faith. During his life he had many passions. He was proud of his Camero with his nickname, psycho 57 on the license plates. He enjoyed working with electronics and flying his drone. He could fix just about anything he tried to. Terry was an avid listener to KSHE 95 throughout his life, always enjoying Rock-N-Roll. He spent time making a lifetime of memories with his nieces and nephews. Always offering them a place to visit, sometimes a little life advice and most importantly a lot of jokes. He was able to fulfill a dream of owning his own sailboat. Later in life, Terry enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and making an impact on their lives.

He is survived by wife, Paula; sister, Lisa Duff (Mike); brother, Bill Meyer; brother-in-law, Milton Morris; children, Shawn Becker, John Clements, Nicholas Gatewood, Philicia Siple (Dan), Steven Siple (Kendall), and Kyle Siple; grandchildren, Bailey, Dominick, Maddlyn, Mia and Macie; several special nieces and nephews, including Mary Ann Hinkel (John), Denver Duff, Aspen Duff Garza (Dan), and Morgan Duff Koonce (James); along with many great-nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary; brother, Gary Meyer; and sister Vicky Morris.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home in Patoka. Memorials may be made in Terry’s to the Family’s Wishes.
