Thomas Hill

Thomas Hill, 65, of Carlyle passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at his home. He was born in Centralia on January 6, 1959, the son of Robert and Wilma (Burton) Hill of Odin.

Survivors include his children, Thomas Hill Jr. of Sandoval, Joe Hill of Sandoval, and Mike Hill of Sandoval; several grandchildren; sisters, Ronda Hill of Carlyle, and Tina Griffith and husband Stan of Odin; nephew, Chad Ward; and good friend, Bob Pryor.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Hill, and Gary Hill; and son, Bobby Hill.

Tom was never slow to pitch in to get a job done at the sawmill. He loved to be outdoors and took advantage of living close to Carlyle Lake. Tom enjoyed biking around the lake and casting his line out to catch whatever fish was biting. He appreciated the simple things in life, like hanging out with his dog, Larry. Tom will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin. Memorials may be made in Tom’s honor to the Family’s Wishes and will be accepted for the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
