William Raymond “Bill” Lowry, 48, of Hoyleton passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born on March 7, 1973 the son of Raymond and Judy (Hahn) Lowry in St. Louis.
Survivors include his beloved family, daughters, Abigail Lowry and significant other Keaten Schuette of Hoyleton, and Eve Lowry and significant other William Moon of Centralia; precious granddaughter, Emmilyne Moon of Centralia; parents, Raymond and Judy Lowry of Centralia; paternal grandmother Doris Lowry of Kimberling City, MO; brother, Josh Lowry and wife Tina of Charleston, IL; sister Shannon Unverfehrt and husband Doug of Hoyleton; nieces and nephews Chesney Ford, Ryker Ford, & Kamryn Unverfehrt all of Hoyleton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Bill was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Raymond Lowry; and his maternal grandparents William and Edna Hahn.
Bill was a proud graduate of Centralia High School, Class of 1991. He always put family first. He had a mechanical talent and enjoyed working on trucks. Movie nights were his favorite and he had true skill when completing puzzles. Bill’s heart and the apple of his eye was his cherished granddaughter, Emmi. He was so proud to be her Grandpa and loved to spend time with her and spoil her any chance he got.

A visitation time to offer condolences to the family will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia, where those in attendance will be asked to wear a mask and the number of people in the funeral home at one time will be limited. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2021 at Hoyleton Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor Nathan Wollenberg.
